Predictive models have also been developed by C\u00c9ROM to inform producers&#8217; decisions based on the level of risk in the fields.<\/p>\n<p>Quebec plans to invest <strong>$14 million to reduce the use of these pesticides<\/strong> and facilitate adaptation to these new measures, as stated in the communiqu\u00e9 released by Minister Melan\u00e7on.<\/p>\n<p>The major oversight in this strategy remains glyphosate, the active ingredient in 44% of pesticide sales in Quebec.
